TNSC LogoGoal 2: Create a self-sustaining infrastructure for the field of spatial cognition

  1. Establish a plan to continue the Spatial Cognition conference series, in a way that is self- supporting and that can thus continue after funding for the two centers ends.
  2. Strengthen Spatial Cognition and Computation, so that it is clearly the recognized journal central to the field.

Establish a well-structured professional society, with officers and by-laws, responsible for convening the Spatial Cognition conference series, overseeing the journal Spatial Cognition and Computation, maintaining the Spatial Network listserv, and maintaining a website similar to SILC’s with resources for the TNSC community.
